5th Grade 2023-2024 Legacy Art Project
Each year the 5th Grade Class leaves a special art piece to inspire the current and future students of Canyon Ridge. This art piece leaves a wonderful lasting gift from 5th Grade. As you walk around our school, I am sure you have seen previous years Art Legacy Projects on the walls of the entrance ways, staircases, corridors and cafeteria. These are large canvases or murals. We plan to do the same for our 5th Grade year group or Class of 2031!!
The vision is based on this year’s school theme of Growing Greatness. We have received approval for a mural in the form of multiple canvases of brightly colored wildflowers in a Texan landscape, with cacti increasing in size and a coyote cub.
We are paying for this with 5th Grade parent donations. We have started fundraising for the project and we would be very grateful please for your kind donation. The PTA is collecting funds specifically for this project for us and the donation is tax deductible. All the money raised will go towards the Legacy Project. We need to raise at least $2,000 and much more for multiple canvases. If you have any questions please contact Julie Mossom at [email protected]
