Fifth Grade Legacy Art Project (2022-2023)
Each year the 5th grade class leaves a special art legacy project to Canyon Ridge (CR). As you walk through CR, you can see the legacy projects from previous 5th grade classes. We plan to do the same for our 2022-2023 5th grade class.
As the 5th grade chair, I have been working on the vision along with Artist, Elizabeth Johnson (Ayden’s and Jubilee’s Mom). We have received approval on a twelve (12) foot mural entitled “Kindness” (hands in the shape of a heart) in our CR colors.
The cost for this mural is $2000. We are paying for this with parent donations. We are asking for at least twenty (20) 5th grade families to donate $100 each. Although, we welcome donations in any value. Any funds raised in excess will go towards funding the end of year 5th grade pool party.
